Wonderful remote location, close enough to a rainforest, the jungle, and rain forest, comfortable beds, clean rooms, great breakfasts. Also, reliant on taxis.

I had a late check-in, but the night receptionist at Selva De Laurel went above and beyond to accommodate my hunger by making a cheese plate and finding a bottle of wine for me. The room had stunning jungle views and was beautifully clean. The staff, especially the lady at check-out, spoke excellent English and was very helpful. I'll recommend this hotel.

Nestled in a remote area by the lush forest, this hotel provides a peaceful haven for those seeking an escape into nature. the garden is a small Eden with flourishing jungle flora that brings a sense of tranquility. A rental car or taxi is necessary to get to the location but it's worth it. the room and bathroom are decently sized with comfortable bedding. the restaurant offers a tasty breakfast and the lobby serves as an excellent spot to unwind. the pool is serene with a lovely view of the trees.
The dinner service could be improved.

The complementary breakfast and airport transport were great bonuses during my Easter stay. the hotel's location was also a plus, as it was conveniently located just a short taxi ride away from the city center and the main attraction. the pool area was a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The hotel's location in the jungle meant that transportation, such as a car or taxi, was necessary as there were no restaurants or shops within walking distance. there was no Wi-Fi reception in the room, which could be inconvenient for some guests.

The jungle setting of this hotel was really nice and peaceful. Despite being remote, it was easy to get to with a short taxi ride. The rustic lodge-style lobby and raised wooden walkway leading to the rooms and pool added to the rainforest atmosphere. The rooms were clean and had good air conditioning for the hot weather.
There were a few downsides to this hotel. The location was quite remote, meaning there were no nearby shops or restaurants, and getting a taxi to go out was expensive.
